An oval red cabochon sits at the centre of each stud, held in a plain gold bezel and circled by a narrow band of small clear stones. Twelve rose-cut clear stones ring the outside, giving the cluster a flower outline.
The outer stones sit in individual open collets linked to one another, so light passes behind them and the cluster does not read as a solid plate.
