A pair of perched birds, each body paved with small clear stones over a darkened silver ground, with a pear-cut clear stone set into the breast. A green stone marks the eye and the tail fans down into three gold-bezelled clear stones.
The oxidised finish is left dark between the settings, which is what makes the pave read as texture rather than a flat sheet of stones. The gold plating is kept to the beak, the crest and the tail bezels.
