A large pear-shaped cabochon in a dark blue green sits point up at the centre, held by four claws. Around it runs a narrow pave band, then an outer ring of fourteen rose-cut clear stones in open gold bezels, giving a teardrop-shaped stud that covers most of the lobe.
The cabochon is domed and unfaceted, so the colour shifts from near black at the point to a clearer blue where the light hits. At 11.5g the pair, this is the heaviest piece in the group and is built for occasion wear.
