A single cushion-shaped clear stone fills each stud, bezel-set in gold and ringed by one row of small round clear stones. The centre stone is flat topped and lightly faceted, so it reads as glassy rather than brilliant.
The bezel stands slightly above the halo, which gives the stud a little depth when seen from the side.
