Six petals open around a small gold centre, the inner ones lined with pear-cut green stones and the outer ones paved in tiny clear stones. The finished flower is about the width of a fingertip and sits flat against the lobe.
The petal plates are pierced behind the green stones, so light passes through the colour instead of dying against solid metal. Each clear stone is grain-set individually along the petal edges.
